My name is Kamélia Faraj, and I am a member of the Ordre des diététistes nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ).

I hold a double bachelor's degree in psychology and nutrition, as well as a master's degree in nutrition. Throughout my studies, I came to understand the inseparable link between psychology and nutrition: in order to help someone make lasting changes to their diet, it is crucial to understand their motivations, challenges, and environment.
To date, I have worked in research and clinical settings. I have given lectures on the connection between diet and mental health, written several articles on nutrition, and contributed to the writing of a book on the subject. I am also part of a research team working to create a screener to measure the consumption of ultra-processed foods in Canada. [Learn more...]

Since 2019 I have been providing private consultations and have helped over a hundred people achieve their long-term health goals, including weight loss, improving and preventing medical conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension, eating disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, and digestive issues.
